Happy Thanksgiving Week!! We wanted to remind you that school releases at 11:45 tomorrow, Wednesday, November 26th. Please make sure you have planned, discussed, and communicated dismissal plans with your child and their teacher.

Please see our weekly updates - we have a half day on Wednesday - dismissal is 11:45. We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.

We are excited to announce an upcoming family fun opportunity for our GTN parents and students!

On November 29, Family Services, along with the help of community partners is hosting a parents day out opportunity. Parents will be able to drop their Pre-K through 4th grade students off for an afternoon of turkey bingo, movies, crafts, and food. The cost of this event will be 2 non-perishable food items, per student. The donated items will be used to stock our NEW district food pantry. The event will be from 1:30-4:30pm and parents must register their child beforehand.

We are excited to have dress up days next week to get us through our last full week of November - please consider donating to our Coyote Pantry!

Please join us tomorrow night, November 13th, for a space themed Family Night. 3rd grade students will showcase their solar system projects.

Save the date for our next Family Night. Thursday, November 13th @ 5:30-7:00

🎃 “The Week Before Halloween at GT Norman” ’Twas the week before Halloween, and all through the school, Excitement was bubbling — no one could keep cool! The hallways were buzzing with whispers and cheer, For costumes and candy were practically here!

Please join Family Services tomorrow for their first time home buyer class at GT Norman from 11:30-12:30

Starting Saturday, November 1st, we'll have our 1st of 6 drop-in mini camps in the high school gym from 10am-12pm. Open to any 3rd-6th grade boy who is interested in basketball this year. This is free for Reed City students. We'll focus on skills and playing games. Mini camp dates; November 1st, 8th, 15th, and December 6th, 13th, 20th. Parents are welcome to watch or drop off. Travel ball starts up after Christmas break. I'm looking for parents who are willing to coach either of the 3rd/4th, 5th or 6th grade teams. Parents who are willing to coach, please plan to attend at least one or two of the Saturday sessions. Please reach out to Coach Walsh to let me know if you are interested. This week is a full, short week. We have parent teacher conferences on Wednesday and Thursday and no school Friday and Monday, as all staff participate in a Professional Development Day! If you are planning on picture retakes, they will not happen until November 13th!
