Parents, thank you so much for an awesome first day! There were some hiccups, but we are learning as we go. It was so great to see all of your students today and remind us why we do what we do!

Tomorrow is our first day of school for the 23-24 school year! We are so excited to see you! A few reminders - Tomorrow August 23, 2023, is a 1/2 day of school. Arrival and dismissal times are below for each building -
GTN Elementary
Arrival - 7:45 A.M.
Dismissal - 11:45 P.M.
Middle School/High School
Doors open at 7:40 A.M.
Start time - 7:55 A.M.
Dismissal - 11:30 A.M.

We are pleased to announce that bus route #2 will pick up and drop off students at their original times. Routes 1 and 2 will no longer need to be combined. Thank you for your patience.

Route #2 will need to be canceled next week (4/10 through 4/14). Route #2 will run for the rest of the year after next week.

Bus route #2 (Mr. Brian's route) will not run starting Monday, April 3 through Thursday, April 6. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding as we continue to train additional drivers.
Bussing Update - Ms. Robin is driving Bus #11 morning and afternoon this week.
Route 11 (Jades Route) will not run tomorrow 3/9/2023 and Friday 3/10/2023 in the afternoon. We have a sub-driver in the morning but we will not be able to provide coverage in the afternoon. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to train additional drivers.

Our Varsity Girls District Game v. Cadillac for tonight 2/27, has been postponed. We will post more details shortly!
Athletic Announcement!!
We are working hard to try keep our Girls District game scheduled for today! We will be making a decision by 3pm! Stay tuned for an update this afternoon!
There will be no school for Reed City Area Public Schools today, Monday, February 27, 2023.
Coyotes: I have been closely monitoring the road conditions and weather forecasts. Due to increasingly limited visibility and uncertain road conditions, I have made the difficult decision to dismiss early. Dismissal of the middle school and high school will begin at 1:30, and the elementary school dismissal will begin at 1:45. I have also made the decision to close school for tomorrow, Thursday, February 23, due to the anticipated weather conditions.
All after-school events for today will be canceled. Stay tuned for updates on any activities scheduled for tomorrow.
