CRITICAL! During this time of mandated school closure, educators in Michigan are assessing online learning readiness. Please help this effort by completing this survey ASAP. Results will be compiled statewide and are due no later than April 2nd. bit.ly/iarc2020 THANKS!
To clarify the previous post: we just want to make sure students are able to check their school emails regularly, if you don't have anything yet, don't worry student learning opportunites will be coming soon. Any issues logging in reach out.
This message is specifically for students, parents please pass on to your 3rd-12th graders. Teachers would like to communicate with you, bottom line is they miss you! Please check your school emails for stuff to work on (not graded, or required). Use this link: j.mp/rcsmimail

REED CITY STUDENTS AND PARENTS!!
Hey, Friends. I know we didn't have a lot of time to get the word out about our meal program over shutdown. We had lots of left over breakfasts and lunches yesterday. A Skyward email was sent out yesterday around 5:30 explaining everything better. Can you please get the word out to anyone you may know that doesn't have internet access? We have a $7000 order from Gordon's Foods coming today so we can prep more meals to pass out at the high school from 12:30-3:00 on Friday. and deliver on the PM bus routes. We don't want ANY of it going to waste. I heard people say yesterday, "We don't necessarily need it and don't want to take from others that do." That's awesome and really thoughtful. But we have counted meals for every single child in the district, no matter what the household income is. Please take advantage of our resources. If you don't need it, please accept it and pass it along to someone you know who needs it.
A huge thank you to our amazing bus drivers and food service staff! Our METS staff in coordination with Chartwells staff is getting food out to our community! #CoyotePride #BetterTogether

Mrs. Ruppert's first graders just recieved a boost thanks to a grant from Great Lakes Energy. GT Norman Elementary was one of 22 grant recipients chosen from 91 applicants. The grant was used to purchased a variety of STEAM materials that will be used for years to come in our classroom. Today we got our first chance to dig in and explore using some of the items purchased.
THANKS, Great Lakes Energy, for giving back to the community!
