Here is a reminder about Friday's Parade. The parade does not start until 4:00, GTN will be released at our usual time, 3:20. That will be enough time to get over to the middle school and be ready for the parade. Thank you!

to communicate.

Reed City Schools is currently undergoing a scheduled safety drill. As part of this exercise, we will communicate updates as we proceed through the drill. Please be aware that Individuals may not be allowed to leave or enter some district buildings. Practice drills help maintain our schools as a safe place to work and learn.

As fall approaches, our weather is changing, please send your children with warm clothing. If you need any help with items, please reach out.


This week's updates!


Bus route 5 tomorrow (9/12/2023) afternoon will not be able to run. We will be able to pick up in the morning. This is the route that Mr. Sweet and Mr. Hinken have been running including Crossroads Apartments, Huntey"s, and Roth St.

Good afternoon parents,
I wanted to communicate times your students should be dropped off and picked up. If there is not an adult in the drop-off lines, please do not drop your child off there. Drop off at the main entrance so they can go through the office. At 3:40, your students will be brought to the office to be picked up there. Please contact us, 231-832-5548, if you are running late.


Parents, thank you so much for an awesome first day! There were some hiccups, but we are learning as we go. It was so great to see all of your students today and remind us why we do what we do!

Tomorrow is our first day of school for the 23-24 school year! We are so excited to see you! A few reminders - Tomorrow August 23, 2023, is a 1/2 day of school. Arrival and dismissal times are below for each building -
GTN Elementary
Arrival - 7:45 A.M.
Dismissal - 11:45 P.M.
Middle School/High School
Doors open at 7:40 A.M.
Start time - 7:55 A.M.
Dismissal - 11:30 A.M.

Parents please see the information about pick-up locations at GTN Elementary. Tomorrow is our first day, August 23rd. It is a half-day. Students are released at 11:45. Lunch is provided.

Cost: 18 Years of Age and Under-Free
Adult Lunch: $5.25


We are pleased to announce that bus route #2 will pick up and drop off students at their original times. Routes 1 and 2 will no longer need to be combined. Thank you for your patience.

***ATTENTION***
Route #2 will need to be canceled next week (4/10 through 4/14). Route #2 will run for the rest of the year after next week.
